Overview

Explore the enchanting beauty of Leh and its surrounding areas with this 8-day itinerary. On Day 1, arrive at Leh airport and transfer to your hotel. Take the day to relax and in the evening, visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, and Shanti Stupa. On Day 2, embark on a journey to Alchi Monastery, visiting other attractions like Likir Monastery, Spituk Monastery, and more. Day 3 takes you to Lamayuru Monastery before returning to Leh. Day 4 is dedicated to exploring Nubra Valley via the world’s highest motorable road, Khardongla Pass. Enjoy a camel safari in Hundar village. On Day 5, visit Samstanling Monastery and Panamik village with natural hot springs. Day 6 brings you to the picturesque Pangong Lake via Changla Pass. Return to Leh on Day 7, visiting Hemis Monastery and Sindhu Ghat. On Day 8, depart from Leh Airport/Railway Station, cherishing the memories of your trip.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Day 01: Leh Arrival

Arrival at Leh airport, transfer to the pre-booked hotel.
Relax for the day.
Evening visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, and Shanti Stupa.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 :
Day 2: Leh – Alchi Monastery - Leh(66km)

After breakfast, drive to Alchi Monastery, the oldest Gonpa built in the 11th century.
Visit Likir Monastery, Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and Sangam.
Overnight at Hotel in Leh.

Day 3 :
Day 3: Leh – Lamayuru - Leh(114km)

After breakfast, visit Lamayuru Monastery built on natural sandstone pillars.
Drive back to Leh via the same route. Overnight at Hotel in Leh.

Day 4 :
Day 4: Leh – Nubra Valley - Overnight(160km)

After breakfast, proceed to Nubra valley via Khardongla Pass, the world’s highest motorable road.
Visit Deskit Monastery, Hundar village, and enjoy a Double-Humped Bactrian Camel Safari.
Overnight at Hotel/Camp in Nubra.

Day 5 :
Day 5: Nubra Valley - Leh

After breakfast, drive to Samstanling Monastery and visit Panamik village known for natural hot springs.
Drive back to Leh. Overnight at Hotel in Leh.

Day 6 :
Day 6: Leh – Pangong Lake – Overnight9232km)

After early breakfast, proceed to Pangong Lake (14,500ft) via Changla Pass, located on the Indo-China Border.
Overnight at Hotel in Pangong Lake.

Day 7 :
Day 7: Pangong Lake - Leh

After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Hemis Monastery and Sindhu Ghat.
Overnight at Hotel in Leh.

Day 8 :
Day 8: Leh Drop

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Leh.
If time permits, go for shopping.
Later, proceed to Leh Airport/Railway Station for the return journey, concluding the tour with Happy Memories.
